The CAT SR/A2 differs from 2024's A1 variant by dropping the removable endcap in favor of a fully monolithic design. This .22 suppressor showcases a significant advancement in silencer technology with its SURGE BYPASS pressure system. This pressure system manages the flow of gases more efficiently over a reduced length, minimizing both sound and felt recoil. This can uses Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) engineering and internal structuring to channel gases and effectively produce superior high pitch, high frequency noise reduction while minimizing pressure wave propagation for the shooter. The CAT SR is known for its exceptional durability, being made from high-grade materials and subjected to rigorous testing. It can withstand extreme temperatures, corrosion, and the stresses of rapid firing.
